The J12 Surf Club was innovated by Mango Carafino, representing what he holds dearly in his heart as the memory of Jesus and his12 Disciples who later became Apostles. Bringing faith to the weak at heart, hope to the desperate of souls and the healing hand of believing that there is something greater than the man made nonsense we find in th isworld of struggle many people lose themselves in. Losing site that we are surrounded by Gods beautiful nature. 

 

Mango Carafino is the founder of incredible innovations beginning with the Hydrofoil Kite Board. Creating the first Hydrofoil Kiteboard that evolved into the discipline of sport known as "Hydrofoil Kite Boarding" in 1999 on the island of Maui. Today Hydrofoil Kite Boarding is an Olympic category of competitive high performance sailing upon an underwater airplane style contraption. Elevating the rider above the water's surface to experience the angelic sensation of flying.

Mango Carafino inspired the multi-million dollar industry of kitesurfing to embrace and incorporate his innovation in 2014 boost revenue and longevity to that market space. Today the Carfino Hydrofoil innovation can be seen at the beach and upon the lakes of the world where kitesurfing is taking place.

 

Mango is also a pioneer in the sport of Big Wave Tow In Surfing at the famous surf spot   Jaws (Peahi) on the island of Maui.

In 2015, Carafino went on to innovate solutions for military applications benefiting various branches of government in several countries throughout the Mid East. Supporting law enforcement and military efforts to achieve greater dominance in security, training and officer in the field safety equipment. 

 

However, the passion and love Mango has for the ocean and nature is also held dearly in his heart, particularly surfing the best and the biggest waves in the world, which he believes generates youth within the soul while cleansing the spirit.
